Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
JustFox operates the FoxIPTV application for iOS, iPadOS, and Apple TV (tvOS). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.
Platforms
This privacy policy applies to all versions of FoxIPTV:
- iOS / iPadOS: Available on iPhone and iPad via the App Store. Includes a free tier with advertisements and a premium tier without advertisements.
- Apple TV (tvOS): Available on Apple TV via the App Store. Premium-only (no advertisements, no ad SDKs).
Information Collection
FoxIPTV is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
- Playlist Data: Your M3U playlists, Xtream Codes, and Stalker Portal credentials are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data.
- Favorites and Settings: Your channel favorites and app settings are stored locally on your device.
- Analytics: We collect anonymous usage analytics (such as app crashes and feature usage) via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to improve the app. This data does not identify you personally.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, FoxIPTV stores the following data in your private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit):
- Playlist configurations: Playlist names, server URLs, and playlist type (M3U, Xtream, Stalker).
- Encrypted credentials: Usernames, passwords, and MAC addresses are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored in CloudKit. The encryption key is stored in your iCloud Keychain.
- Favorites: Which channels you have marked as favorites.
- Watch history: Channels you have recently watched and resume positions for VOD content.
This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple at rest. We do not have access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app's Settings. Disabling sync does not delete previously synced data from iCloud - you can manage this through your device's iCloud settings.
Third-Party Services
FoxIPTV and this website may use the following third-party services:
In the App (iOS / iPadOS)
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy applies to transactions.
- Apple Declared Age Range: For parental controls and content filtering. We use Apple's system-level age verification (iOS 26+) to determine if adult content should be hidden. This only tells us your age category (adult or minor), not your actual age or birthdate. You can decline to share this information, in which case a manual toggle is provided. Apple manages this data according to their privacy policy.
- Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Not present in the premium version or Apple TV app. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta Audience Network: For displaying advertisements via AdMob mediation. Meta may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data. Not present in the premium version or Apple TV app. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Unity Ads: For displaying advertisements via AdMob mediation. Unity Ads may collect device identifiers (IDFV; IDFA only when authorized via App Tracking Transparency), IP address, ad interaction events, and coarse device metadata (model, OS version, language) for ad delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. Not present in the premium version or Apple TV app. See Unity's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting to help us fix bugs. This data is anonymized and does not identify you personally.
- Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage analytics (app launches, feature usage). This data is anonymized and does not identify you personally.
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit): For syncing playlists, favorites, and watch history between your devices. Data is stored in your private iCloud account. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Opting out of ad tracking: The ad networks above (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads) only request your IDFA for cross-app tracking if you allow it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You can change this at any time: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track", or deny FoxIPTV's individual tracking prompt. Even without IDFA, ads still display - they just become non-personalized. To remove ads entirely, upgrade to any paid tier (Premium Monthly, Premium Yearly, or Lifetime) - all paid tiers are fully ad-free.
In the App (Apple TV / tvOS)
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases (Universal Purchase with iOS).
- Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting. Anonymized data only.
- Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage analytics. Anonymized data only.
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit): For syncing playlists, favorites, and watch history with your other Apple devices.
Note: The Apple TV version does not include any advertising SDKs (no AdMob, no Meta Audience Network). It is premium-only.
On This Website
- Google Analytics 4 (via GTM): For analyzing website traffic and user behavior. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your cookie preferences. Data collection requires your explicit consent.
- Microsoft Clarity: For understanding how visitors interact with our website through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity does not collect personal information and anonymizes all data. Data collection requires your explicit consent.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: For protecting our contact form against spam and bots. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving alternative to CAPTCHA and does not track users across websites.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information (unless you contact us for support)
- We do not have access to your IPTV credentials or playlists
- We do not track the content you watch
- We do not sell any data to third parties
GDPR Rights (EU Users)
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to data processing
- Data portability
Since we store minimal data (mostly on your device), you can delete all app data by uninstalling FoxIPTV.
Children's Privacy
FoxIPTV is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
FoxIPTV includes parental controls that can automatically hide adult content based on Apple's Declared Age Range system. Parents can also use the in-app toggle to manually hide adult content categories and channels.
